Tillie Roderick
October 12th, 1923 - April 1st, 2013
My Life Story Tillie Roderick passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 in Nampa, ID. Tillie was born in Tabor, So. Dakota on October 12, 1923. Her parents, Joseph and Matilda Hroza came to the United States from Czechoslovakia in the late 1800’s and after they were married they produced five children. Tillie was the fourth born. She has lived in So. Dakota, Texas, Idaho, Oregon, Wyoming and Washington and has spent the last 6 months back in Idaho. We have been very grateful to have her back with her Idaho family for these last months. Tillie led a colorful and full life and she passed peacefully with no regrets. She loved and was loved by all who knew her throughout her life. Her husband, Dean Roderick passed in August of 2012. Now they will share more adventures together. Tillie is survived by her sister, Margie Bennett, now of Denver, Colorado, a daughter, Margaret Caskey of Nampa, Idaho; step-son, Dean Roderick of The Dalles, Oregon; step-daughters: Janet Roderick, Patti Ulrich and Vera Crain. She has been a grandmother for 15 grandchildren and they are followed by 32 great grandchildren and 8 great, great grandchildren. We will miss her in our lives. Per her wishes, we will have a memorial party on May 25, 2013. She asked that those who knew her feel happy for her and have no sadness or tears. Remembrances may be left for the family at www.AccentFuneral.com. Arrangements are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home, Meridian.

We Entrusted Tillie Roderick's Care To
Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
