Albert Haskins
May 6th, 1941 - November 4th, 2013
My Life Story Albert A. Haskins, of Middleton, ID, was born May 6, 1941, in Caldwell, ID, to Lottie Buffington Haskins and OB Haskins. Raised in Cascade, he took off on his Harley to travel the states at just 17. When he returned to Idaho, he met and married Sharon Skoye on May 31st, 1964. To this marriage, Sharon brought a one year old daughter, Tammy, and in 1965 they added a son, Shaun. Al was very proud of his time stationed in Germany in the Army, and retired an experienced mechanic with Hobson Elevator. Al to some, Papa to many, he touched many lives. He taught us to shoot from the hip, but still love unconditionally. His friends were his family, and his family was everything. He is survived by his brothers and sister, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. He went to meet his parents and his brother on November 4th, 2013, surrounded by his adoring family. Memorial services will be held at Shaun’s home on Saturday, November 9th at 1pm; please contact Accent Funeral Home at 888-5833 for the address.

We Entrusted Albert Haskins's Care To
Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
