"Something still exists as long as there is someone around to remember it.” – Jodi Picoult Our son, Sebastien Anthony Jensen, was taken from us suddenly on Friday morning. Our minds cannot process the magnitude of this loss, and we are mourning more than just his presence in our lives… But rather we are also grieving the loss of a shared future with him. Grieving lost moments and experiences; lost laughs and dinners; lost time spent with someone we loved so fiercely. We want to remember him for who he was and what he meant to us. He was kind. Hard-working. Had the best laugh. The thickest hair. A wicked sense of humor. He loved to spend his time gaming and messing around on YouTube, but also really loved to spend time with his family... Biking with his mom, fishing with his grandpa, camping with friends. He loved people and filled every space with laughter and fun. Our futures are forever altered without Sebastien in it. We will never recover. All we can do is look to the future with intent to honor his memory, and cement his legacy amongst everyone who knew him.
