Diane Curin Diane Joyce Curin passed away on October 9, 2015 of natural causes at McKenzie Willamette Hospital. Diane was born on February 10, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois to Alvin and Mary Konecny. She married Ronald Curin in 1957. The family moved to Molalla, Oregon in 1963 and later moved to the Veneta area in 1969. She served on the Fern Ridge School Board for several years and worked as a bookkeeper in Eugene. After raising four children she moved to the Seattle area where she continued as a bookkeeper. After retiring she spent nearly a decade traveling the United States reconnecting with family and making new friends. Most recently she finally settled down and divided her time between her family in the Northwest. She instilled her positive attitude and adventurous nature into her family. Proud and Positive were some traits most remembered. Please join us to celebrate her life on Saturday October 24, 2015 at 11:00 am at the St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church on East Broadway in Veneta, Oregon.
