August 28th, 1939 - January 25th, 2013
Fernando “Fred” Duran, 73 of Homedale, Idaho passed away peacefully on January 25, 2013. Fred was born August 28, 1939 in Taos, New Mexico to Joe and Flora Duran; he was the third of seven children. He was raised in Cokeville, Wyoming, and then eventually moved to the Nampa, Idaho area. He is also survived by four of his siblings, Rose Harmon, Ambrose Duran, Mary Iverson, and Tony Duran, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Flora Duran, two of his brothers, Ernest Duran and Joe Duran and by a grandson Eric Sweet. A Remembrance Celebration will be at the Basque Center in Homedale, Idaho on Saturday, February 9, 2013 from 11am to 1 pm. A later burial and memorial will take place in Cokeville, Wyoming Service Information
