Darlene went home to be with her Heavenly Father, Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at home of natural causes. She was born July 2, 1940 in Baker, Oregon, to deaf parents, Edwin & Rosa (Takala) Hill. The family moved from Baker to McCall, Idaho in 1945, where she attended grade school from 1946 to 1954. Her father passed away on Dec 23, 1948. From 1954 to 1958 she and her mother moved to Payette where she graduated from high school. 1958-1959 Darlene attended Link’s school of Business in Boise living with Chuck & Ruby Balding & family. From there she worked at Hummel, Hummel, Jones, & Shower Architects, for three years as an assistant secretary. Darlene Married Carl A. Bosworth of Dover-Foxcraft, Maine. They met while he was stationed at the Mountain Home AFB. They were married March 17, 1962, in Boise at the First Presbyterian Church on State Street. She had remained a housewife since. They lived in Boise 45 years before moving to Nampa in 2006 to the Silvercrest Retirement Center. She is survived by two sons Douglas of Boise, and Dale and April of Caldwell; two grandsons Dakota and Josef; and a great-grandson Brian; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Darlene enjoyed gardening, flowers, carpentry, porcelain dolls, plates, and books. She attended the Central Assembly of God Church in Boise, and the Karcher Church of the Nazarene in Nampa. At her request there will be no services and cremation will be under the care of Flahiff Funeral Home, Caldwell.
