Daniel Michael Kingman
March 7th, 1947 - March 3rd, 2012
Daniel M. Kingman, 64, of Middleton, went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2012 at a Boise hospital after losing a long battle with cancer. Daniel was born on March 7, 1947 in Hancock, Michigan to John and Hazel (McCullum) Kingman he was the second youngest of seven children. He married Marsha Bonnell in 1967; they later had their two sons Brent and Sean. Daniel served in the US Army with the 4th Infantry Div. in Vietnam from 1967-1968. He then entered into the US Air Force ROTC while attending school at San Francisco State University and was commissioned an US Air Force officer following his graduation. In 1974 he began pilot training at Vance AFB, earning his Wings in January of 1975. While stationed at McCord AFB, Daniel flew the C141 Stratofortress and continued his education through USC earing his master’s degree in system management. Daniel was honorably discharged from the Air Force as a Captain and spent the remainder of his years devoted to family and the Catholic Church. Daniel is survived by his sons: Brent (Cassandra) Kingman and Sean Kingman, his grandchildren: Emily Kingman, Dylan Kingman, Benjamin Kingman, Cassidy Kingman, his brothers: Raymond Kingman, Frank Kingman, Edward Kingman, and Joseph Kingman and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Mary Webb, and his brother John Jr. Kingman. The Graveside Committal Service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Veterans Cemetery (10101 N. Horseshoe Bend Rd) Boise, ID with military honors.
