Marcelino Olivas Baez
July 2nd, 1939 - February 28th, 2012
Marcelino Olivas Baez, born July 2, 1939, passed away on February 28, 2012. He was born in Guasave Sinaloa, Mexico to Victoriono and Ramona Baez. In 1960 he married the love of his life, Maria Salazar in Mexico. Together they had 6 children. In 1970 Marcelino and Maria migrated to the United States, looking for a better life for his family. He was a farm laborer in Arizona until 1980 and migrated back and forth until he settled in Idaho in 1984. Marcelino is survived by his wife Maria, children Silvia (Jorge) Paz, Marcelino Jr., Ramona, Oscar (Linda), Luz (Jesus) Aguearo, Gomez, Cuahuhtemoc (Sylvia), Nancy and Blanca , a sister Armida Pantova, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Vic and Ramona Baez, a brother Abeliuo Baez and a grandson Roberto Zamora. A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell with a rosary recital at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Our Lady of The Valley at 10:30 AM with interment to follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery. Service Information
