Edna "Kent" Forman
August 15th, 1924 - January 19th, 2012
Edna M. Foreman, 87, of Nampa passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at an Idaho Falls care center. Edna was born on August 15, 1924 in Cabarton, Idaho to Edwin & Myrtle (Wood) Kent. In 1942 – 43 she spent two summers manning the Deadwood Mountain lookout and she gained a love for the Idaho Mountains. She married George Hibbard in 1945 and they had two children, Ron & Marlene, before his death in 1956. She later married Lavern Foreman and they had three children: Charlene, Ed, & David Foreman. Edna was a very kind and loving wife, mother, grandmother and a devoted active member of the LDS Church. She will be greatly missed. Edna is survived by Ron & Deby Hibbard, Marlene & Gary Lane, Charlene Walling, Ed & Joan Foreman, 16 grandchildren and 35 great- grandchildren. Three step-children: Jerry Foreman, Judy Pirnie, and Pat Badger. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank & Myrtle Kent, brothers Frank & Dickie Kent, Sister, Ethel Williams, husbands, George Hibbard, Lavern Foreman, and a son David Foreman. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 from 10:00 – 11:30 AM at the church. Edna`s Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 18486 Middleton Rd, in Nampa. Burial will be at Emmett Cemetery, Emmett, Idaho.
