Susan Ann Jensen, 57, of Boise passed away February 12, 2011 at a Boise hospital of complications arising from pulmonary hypertension. Sue Ann was a member of the Jordans Landing Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. Sue Ann was born in Bend, OR on August 5, 1953, the youngest child of Victor and Martha Keeney. Upon graduation from Bend High School, she attended Ricks College in Rexburg. She then moved to Salem, OR. where she worked until she was called to serve a mission for the church in the Austria Vienna Mission. Her mission was a great source of happiness and strength to her, and something she enjoyed sharing with her family for the remainder of her life. Upon returning home, she attended Central Oregon Community College and then made the decision to move to Provo, Utah and attend Brigham Young University, where she majored in Psychology and minored in Sociology. While at BYU, she met her future husband Mark C. Jensen. They immediately fell in love and were married in the Provo Temple on May 2, 1981. After mark graduated from BYU they moved to windy plains of Wyoming. During their 8 years there, they lived in Rawlins, Casper, Rock Springs, and Green River. While in Wyoming. Sue Ann and Mark became the parents of 5 children, Mary, Zachery, Nicholas, Mark H. and Abigale. In 1989 they decided to move back to Mark's Hometown of New Plymouth, ID, where they were blessed with 2 more little girls, Gracie and Luci. She was a dedicated mother and wife, and found great joy in her family. Sue Ann served in many church callings through the years including Cub Scouts, Young Women's president, and Gospel Doctrine Teacher. She loved her service as a teacher, in which she was particularly gifted. Sue Ann loved music, poetry, and books. She memorized many poems, and enjoyed Kipling best. Sue Ann was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Ed Keeney, and 3 children: Zachary, Abigale, Luci. She is survived by her husband Mark, four children and a grandson; Mary, Mark H. , Gracie, Nicholas and his wife Saramarie, and their child Zachary, who gave Sue Ann great joy in her final months; a sister, Linda Coffman, and niece, Kimberly Coffman. Funeral services will be held at the LDS Chapel Located at 5900 Castle Dr., Boise at 10:00 AM on Thursday, Feb 17, 2011. Visitation will held at 9:00 AM prior to the Services. Interment will be at Parkview Cemetery, New Plymouth. Arrangements are the care of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Service Information
