Alicia Martinez Zamora, 66 of Caldwell, passed away on February 10, 2011 at a Boise hospital. She was born on December 9, 1944 in Sabinal, Texas to Presiliano and Ramona Jimenez Martinez. Alicia's childhood was spent in Texas, she then moved with her family to Nyssa, Oregon where she met and married Rudy R. Zamora in 1959. Alicia was a very happy-go-lucky person who was generous, kind, caring and loved to please her family. She was a really good cook and she enjoyed music and liked going to Jackpot to play the slot machines. Alicia is survived by her husband Rudy Sr., and her children Susie (Rodney) Irons, Ruben (Marie) Zamora, Tilly (Ruben) Salgado, Sonya (Mario) Martinez, Rudy Jr. (Kim) Zamora, 18 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Lucy Reynosa, Gloria Chavez, Julia Granado, Anna Martinez, Lily Gongora, Ester Aguinaga; and her brothers, Ramon (Esparanza) Martinez, Rafeal Martinez, Enrique Martinez, Presiliano Martinez. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Hector Martinez and great grandchild Emma Neuterman. A viewing will be held on Monday, February 14, 2011 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell.
