Guy Delano Williams
March 28th, 1947 - May 13th, 2010
Guy Delano Williams, 63, of Middleton passed away on May 13, 2010. He was born March 28, 1947 in Pampa, TX, to William C. Williams and Zelda Bea Williams. He was the youngest of five children. The family moved to a farm in Hunt, Idaho in 1949 and then relocated to Blackfoot, Idaho in 1956 where Guy spent a good portion of his childhood and graduated from high school. In 1968 he married Donna Nield and to this union three daughters were born. Guy enlisted in the Army in 1970 and received an honorary discharge a short time later. He spent most of his career driving truck and pouring concrete. Guy had his own band for many years and played professionally as guitarist and lead singer. He loved writing, playing, singing and listening to music, cooking for others, fishing and watching football. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. and Zelda Bea Williams, and one brother, Marvin (Mick) Williams. He is survived by his three daughters; Corrina (Jim) Stailing of Loudon, TN; Tammy (Don) Olson of Seattle, WA; Robyn (Jeremy) Shoemaker of Blackfoot, ID; two brothers; Bill (Beverly) Williams of McCall, ID and Forrest (Kay) Williams of New Meadows, ID; one sister; Nancy (Jack) Caster of Nampa, ID; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. "We all Love you very much and will miss you". The family would like to extend a very special thanks to Carol Stewart and the Canyon County Board of Community Guardians for their care and kindness shown to Guy over the past few years. A funeral service will be held at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel (624 Cleveland Blvd., Caldwell, ID), on Friday, May 21 at 10:00 am. Service Information
