May Belle Zieber, 92, of Nampa, died Monday, January 26, 2009 at a Nampa care facility, Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. Mrs. Zieber was born March 22, 1916 at Larned, Kansas, a daughter of Herman W. and Sophia Seba Ekhoff. She was reared and educated in Kansas and married Hebert M. Zieber on Dec. 27, 1937 in Carrier, OK. The couple lived in Indiana and in Oregon before locating in the Lake Lowell Community in 1946. May Belle worked many jobs, doing whatever it took to care for her family and yet always made time for others. She is survived by her family; son, Herbert "Duffy" M. and D.J. Zieber of Lowman; son John H. and Krista Zieber of Mt. Vernon , WA. ; daughter, Zella Zo and Lester Frerichs of Caldwell, Mary Jo Hubbard of Caldwell, Sally C. Gilliland of Nampa, Linda Lee "DeeDee" Welton of Boise and Nancy Lee and Floyd Ray Tuttle of Jordan Valley, Or.; 18 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren and two sisters, Kathrine Ashlock of Hines, OR and Christina Dunlap of Cody, Wyoming. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, a grandson and two sons-in-law. Friends may call at the Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell today from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
