Mary “Evelyn” Ross, 86, of Caldwell, left this world, passing away at home, surrounded by her family and friends, on Sunday, April 9, 2017. Evelyn was born at Mercy Hospital in Nampa, ID to Clarence and Ada (Patrick) Hill on February 4, 1931. Evelyn married Edgar Daniel Ross in 1950 and together they had three children. They were happily married for 67 years. She and Edgar moved to Meridian, ID to work on a farm and then moved to Caldwell, ID where they were both employed at Simplot for 20 years. Following their years at Simplot, they enjoyed retirement. Evelyn was a God loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband, Edgar; her three children, Barbara, Clifton and Dilbert; eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. A viewing for Evelyn will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 5-8 PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. Condolences may be left at www.flahifffuneralchapel.com. Service Information
