Samuel was born in La Primavera Calvillo, Aguascalientes, México on January 17, 1935 to Carlos de Loera Rodríguez and Teodora Salas Rojas. He was the youngest of the De Loera Salas family. A very humble but hardworking family. Samuel was always very happy. He liked banda music, one of his favorite songs was “Mi Gusto Es”. He loved to joke with others, play cards, watch horse races, rooster fights, and television with his wife. He could be found on any early morning walking to his local gas station to buy a lottery ticket and a cup of coffee. He will be remembered for having a sharp brain for simple math and his ability to strike a conversation with any stranger. In his earlier years, he was no stranger to randomly getting on a Greyhound - Chicago bound bus to visit his grandchildren. His family and friends would tell him that he lived his life like a rich man, which would make him laugh. We will miss his sense of humor and his outspoken ways. We feel privileged to have known and shared part of his 82 years of life. We know he is now in a better place and will be watching over us. “May God keep you in Heaven, Dad” – Rosalba He is survived by his wife Maria Guadalupe De Loera Padilla (86 years old), his three surviving siblings Antonio, Jose and Guadalupe De Loera, his five children, Ramon, Secundino, Belen, Rosalba and Samuel, his fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren Mario Antonio De Loera, Lucero and Gabriel Soto Jr. Samuel De Loera falleció a los 82 años de edad, debido a fallas del corazón el sábado 15 de Abril del año 2017 en Caldwell, Idaho.
