Flahiff Funeral Chapels & Crematory-Caldwell
Thomas Alfred Ryan
May 23rd, 1923 - April 1st, 2017
Thomas A. Ryan was born May 23, 1923 to Ida (Sage) & Alfred (Del Salvador) Ryan. He grew up just a few miles northwest of Homedale on his grandparents’ little farm. His whole young life was spent working hard. Right out of high school, he enlisted in the Navy. My sister and I, growing up had a very good role model. Dad so enjoyed the outdoors more than anything and so very proud of his rose garden – as he should have been. He had such a green thumb and could make anything grow. He will be so missed and remembered always. Tom is survived by two daughters Teresa Redfield and Tamie Kennedy, a niece Florence Guengerich, 4 grandchildren and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by 2 wives, Stevie Ryan and our mother Noreen, his parents, grandparents and 2 sisters. Memorial Services will be held Monday, April 10, 2017 at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Homedale. Navy military honors and inurnment will follow at Marsing-Homedale Cemetery in Marsing.
