Sylvia "Ann" Ward
January 17th, 1945 - February 28th, 2017
Sylvia “Ann” Ward was born January 17, 1945 in Texarkana, Arkansas. Her parents were Edra Roberts Rayburn Dale and Wayne Henry Rayburn. She was married in August 1971 to Tommy Green Ward for 22 years until his death. Ann is survived by her sister, Martha Rayburn Smith; her children, and many many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ann loved children and served as a volunteer Grandma at Head Start WICAP for several years. Ann had a very strong faith and loved the Lord. She had the gift of hospitality and was always seen with open arms, warm hugs, a big smile, and food for the little ones. Services will be led by Pastor Bill Webster and will be held at Silver Sage Baptist Church 5858 S Maple Grove Rd. Boise, ID at 11:00AM on Saturday March 4, 2017. A Graveside Memorial Service will be held at Shiloh Memorial Baptist Church 9143 Highway 82 Texarkana, Arkansas on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 11:30AM.
