Sandra K. Pearson
May 9th, 1940 - February 15th, 2016
Sandra Pearson passed away February 15, 2016 in Caldwell Idaho from complications of chronic illness, surrounded by family and friends. Born in Greeley Colorado May 9, 1940, her family soon came west settling in Kennewick, Washington were she graduated from Kennewick High School in 1958. After she attended Columbia Basin Junior College, graduating from Eastern Washington University years later after starting a family. Though she majored in fashion merchandising, she worked numerous years in the transportation industry, ultimately for Idaho Sand and Gravel until her retirement. She met the love of her life, Larry Pearson whom she married in 1982 and relocated to Idaho where they spent the rest of their lives together until he preceded her in death in 2008. Sandra and Larry made a loving home in Caldwell with their Boxer dogs, and cats. Sandra loved playing with her grandchildren and indulging her pets. Sandra is survived by her three adult children, Michael Pearson of Juliaetta, Idaho, Victoria Harris of Eagle, Idaho, John Barker of Sammamish, Washington, and her grandchildren, Jaden Harris, and Faye Pearson, both of whom she adored. She was preceded in death by her husband, brother, and parents. No funeral services will be scheduled as per Sandra’s request. The family would like to thank the staff of West Valley Hospital for their care and attention to her needs in her final days.
