Israel "Ree Ree" Briones
March 13th, 2015
Israel “Ree Ree” Briones, 15, of Caldwell, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015. He was born in Caldwell on August 9, 1999, the third of seven children, to Noemi Briones. Israel grew up in Caldwell and attended school in the Caldwell School District. This is where he became successful at basketball and had the desire to become an NBA player. Israel liked to teach his balling skills to anyone who was up for a challenge and that is how he met most of his friends. In the sixth grade he met Falisha Lopez and they were inseparable from the moment they laid eyes on each other. They passed love notes to one another in the halls and classrooms at school and their love is what kept them together through the ups and downs of life. Israel is survived by his mother, Noemi Briones; brothers: Izahia, Izaak and Ivan Briones; sisters: Janessa (Albert Munoz), Jayden and Mia Briones; aunts: Amie Vargas and Cindy (David) Bravo; a special cousin, Dominique Vargas; his one and only wella, Juana Rodriguez; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his best friends: Koby Hayes and Chris Ramirez. He is preceded in death by his wello, Chinto and many other family members. Keep on Balling in Heaven, “Ree Ree”, we love you. A viewing for Israel will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 PM with Rosary Recital at 7:00 PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Caldwell. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 20, 2015 at 1:00 PM at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell and services will conclude with burial at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
