Ralph was born December 11, 1932 in Escondido, CA to Harold and Opal Lewis. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 2, 2014. Ralph was one of eleven siblings. At a young age his family moved to Idaho. When Ralph turned 17 he joined the Coast Guard. Ralph married Trudi and they had three children. They later divorced and he married Jeanette Lewis and they had one son. They divorced and in his later life, he married Susan Utterback. Ralph was a member of the Bible Missionary Church. He was a journeyman plumber for approximately 50 years and co-owner of Higer Plumbing with his two brothers, Herb and Ron, in Caldwell, ID. He loved to fish, hunt and camp. He was a gardener and had a farm in New Acres. He was a real jokester and enjoyed a good laugh. Upon his retirement, he loved to travel and made two trips to the Philippines to see his son, Morrie and his family who are Missionaries. His current wife and he moved to Bessemer, Alabama for a time and he returned to Idaho two years ago. Ralph is survived by his wife, Susan of Bessemer, AL, daughter, Judi Edwards of Notus, ID, son, Morrie and Judy Lewis of the Philippines, Son Lonnie and Debbie Lewis of Vale, OR, son, Larry Lewis of Fruitland, ID, step-daughters, Teresa Kuder and Sheryl Lopez of Payette, 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Eunice Daniels, brother, Richard Lewis and a grandchild, Jason Pennington. A Viewing for friends and family will be at Flahiff Funeral Chapel on Friday August 8, 2014, from 5:00-8:00PM. Funeral Services for Ralph will be held at Midway Bible Mission Church on Saturday August 9, 2014, at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at Marsing Homedale Cemetery. Service Information
