Debra "Winder" C Durbin
July 10th, 1951 - March 15th, 2014
Debra C. Winder Durbin died March 15, 2014 at a Boise hospital after a lengthy struggle with cancer. She was born in Caldwell on July 10, 1951, the fourth child of June Robertson Winder and Richard “Dick” Winder. She attended Caldwell Schools and graduated in 1969 from Caldwell High School. On Sept. 26, 1969, she married Terry L. Durbin and enjoyed a lifetime of love and sharing. She completed a program of study which prepared her for a ten year career at the Caldwell Hospital’s Home Care Program. She was a housewife for the remainder of her life. Debra is survived by her husband Terry; his brothers, John (Sherri ) Durbin, Tim (Linda) Durbin; his sister Cathy (Dave) Anderson, all of Medford, OR. Her parents Dick and June Winder, Caldwell; a sister, Kay Bennett, Caldwell; a brother, Robert Winder, Homedale; an Uncle, Charles (Diane) Winder, Boise; an Aunt Dianna Robertson, Caldwell and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Winder. As a final gift to society, she donated her eyes, a gift beyond value to a sightless person. There will be a gathering of family and friends, Friday, March 21, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 PM at the Caldwell Elks Lodge. Come join us as we remember and rejoice in Debra’s life.
