Milan Lewis Gould
May 27th, 1940 - April 13th, 2021
Milan Lewis Gould age 80, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side on April 13, 2021 at their home in Middleton, ID. Milan was born on May 27, 1940 in Ontario, OR to Judson and Ruby Gould. He was the oldest of four children. Milan graduated from Middleton High School in 1958, where he met the love of his life Sherrill Torrance. They were married on June 2, 1959 and had two children Brett and Jodee. After a short five years of working for Simplots in Glenns Ferry, Milan and Sherrill decided to move back to Middleton to raise their children and farm. While farming was his passion, he also worked for the Drainage District #2 and Virgo. In 2002 Milan and Sherrill semi-retired when their son joined the farm. They enjoyed 16 winters in Yuma, Arizona; traveling all over the states, watching their grandkids and great grandkids play sports, 4-H shows, drama productions, and dirt bike races. He never met someone who he couldn’t talk for hours with, no one was a stranger to him. Milan is proceeded in death by his parents, father in-law and mother in-law. He is survived by his wife Sherrill, son Brett (Danielle) Gould, daughter Jodee (Kent) Funkhouser. His four grandkids Jessica Morford, Shandee (Toby) Blele, Aaron Funkhouser, Alyssa (Austin) Bridges and six great grandkids Elizabeth Morford, Breanna Morford, Kash Morford, Elias Blele, Riggs Blele, and one little Bridges on the way. Also survived by his siblings Bert (Chrie) Gould, Judy (Ray) Johnson, Sherrel (Charles) Stewart. A celebration of life will be on May 1, 2021 at 1:00pm at the home of Milan and Sherrill (10081 Lilac Place Middleton).
