Vivian R. Jensen, age 93, went peacefully to be with the Lord November 21, 2021 at her home. Vivian was born on December 9, 1927 in Enid, Oklahoma. In 1936, she moved to Caldwell, ID with her parents Marion and Tressie Ingle. She graduated from Caldwell High School. She worked as a waitress at her parent’s café from 1945 to 1947. She married Ralph Jensen in November 1947. They made their home on a farm in the Caldwell area, where they raised their family. Vivian was a homemaker and farm wife. She was active in community clubs and church activities. She is survived by three daughters, Judy (Dennis) Griggs of Caldwell, Irene (Dick) Hines, McMinnville, OR. and Karen (Gary) Harshman of Caldwell; and their eight grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, eleven great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Jensen. Services will be held at Flahiff Funeral Chapel Caldwell at 10:30 AM on Monday, December 6, 2021, with burial following at Canyon Hill Cemetery. A time of viewing will be held the night before on Sunday from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church, Notus, ID – Fellowship Hall Building Fund.
