Flahiff Funeral Chapels & Crematory-Caldwell
Nate Robertson Morin
August 17th, 2019
Nathan Robertson Morin left his earthly home at the age of 42. He was the oldest of eight children. Born March 23, 1977 to Edward and Lorraine Morin. He served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter–day Saints in Charlotte, North Carolina. He attended the University of Utah for a bachelor’s degree in accounting where he met his wife Joanna. They were married and sealed for eternity in the Bountiful, Utah Temple in 2002. They are the parents of 5 amazing children ranging from ages 15 to 2. Nate earned a Masters degree in accounting at Boise State University and worked as a CPA at Ripley Doorn & Co. Being with his family was what he loved most. He loved spending time outdoors biking, hiking, camping, and backpacking, especially doing those things as a family. He was an avid University of Utah football fan and loved watching the games. He enjoyed trying new recipes on the grill or his smoker. Nate also loved to longboard and go shooting, and to wrestle with Gunnar, his dog. He was a devoted father and husband. He was loved dearly and will be sorely missed by many. But we know we will be together again someday. Our family is Eternal. God be with you ‘till we meet again. Nate is preceded in death by his grandparents, Art and Rene Morin. He is survived by his wife, Joanna Morin, their children, Kade, Brooke, Hailey, Kara, Ava, his grandparents, Don and Carolyn Robertson, his parents, Edward and Lorraine Morin, and his siblings, Devin (Bri) Morin, Burke (Salem) Morin, Clint (Laura) Morin, Matt (Erika) Morin, Nicole (David) Ellis, Aimee (Nathan) Schultz, and EJ (Sarah) Morin. A viewing for friends and family will held on Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 6-8 pm at the LDS Stoddard Road Building [2555 S. Stoddard Road, Meridian], and on Friday, August 23, 2019 from 10-11:45 am. Funeral services begin at 12:00 pm and interment will follow at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
