Pauli Ann Jordan Massey, passed away, April 30, 2022 at Wellspring of Cascadia Nursing Home, Nampa, of congestive heart failure. She had lived there for 7 years due to a stroke in 2015. Funeral service will be held Monday, May 9, 2022 at the Assembly of God, “The Domes,” 821 N. 16th Ave, Caldwell, ID at 11 AM. Viewing will be from 10 AM to 11 AM. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens off Karcher Rd, Caldwell. She was born on November 23, 1961 to Laurance E. and Shirley A Jordan Dibben. She lived across from McDonalds in Caldwell (course there was no McDonalds there), and later moved out to the Midway area where she graduated from Vallivue High School. She went on a missionary trip to Ecuador as part of her graduation gifts from friends and relatives. She also went to College at Northwest College in Kirkland, Washington for 1 year. She married, Russell Massey to which 4 children were born, Seth, Sara, Brent, and Cheryl. They were later divorce. Pauli had many health problems through her life, but she always trusted God through it all. She had leukemia when she was 12 years old and suffered through all those treatments, but God gave her 48 more years to live. She moved to Tulsa, OK with her family and attended Spartan Aeronautics School where she received a bachelor’s degree. She moved a back to Nampa in 1995. 7 years ago, she found out that she had a brain tumor (not cancerous) and during surgery to remove it. She had a stroke and had to learn to use her right side and walk again with help. She made many friends in the nursing home. During all this time, she kept her faith in God. She gave her heart to Jesus as a child. 2 years ago, she almost died from the “flu” just before the pandemic, and discovered her heart was not working properly. The reason why she did not have much energy. She was not expected to live, but she lived 2 more years, keeping her faith in God. She is survived by her children, Seth, Sara, Brent, and Cheryl Massey; mother, Shirley Jordan Dibben; her stepfather, Dwane Dibben; brothers and sisters, Floyd (Cindy) Jordan, Judy (Leroy) Gillatt, Steve (Shirley) Jordan, Tim (Vaun) Jordan and Vickie Jordan; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Laurance Jordan; grandparents, Art and Grace Jerome; Floyd and Laura Jordan Burley.
