Eulalio Gutierrez Delgado (Don Lalo) age 87 of Caldwell, Idaho passed away peacefully on Sunday morning June 18,2023 in the comfort of his home. He has now joined his beloved wife Sara in eternal rest. Eulalio G. Delgado was born in Zacatecas, Mexico to Luciano and Maria Gutierrez Delgado. He lived in Mission, Texas and in Caldwell,Idaho for many years migrating back in forth along with his wife and children working in agriculture. He was a national forest fighter for over 30 years. His passion was working outdoors and training horses, his love for horses allowed him to meet numerous people including one of his favorite actor/artist Antonio Aguilar who he had a pleasure of training his horses and calling his friend. Anybody who had the honor of meeting Mr.Eulalio Delgado knows that he had a heart of gold. He always had wise words and stories to tell. He was a great man that devoted his love, time, generosity and knowledge to many. He left a great void and huge boots to fill; there will never be anyone that could ever replace his charisma and character. He was not only a father but a great dad, grandpa and great grandpa. Eulalio is survived by his 10 children: Maria Rafaela (Antonio) Loredo, Elia (Carlos) Muñoz, Blanca (Roberto) Acosta, Ermelinda (Alvaro) Garcia, Elizabeth (Jaime) Valdez, Eulalio (Becky) Delgado Jr., Luciano (Rosie) Delgado, Sara (Oscar) Flores, Dionicio (Juana) Delgado, Rosalinda (Roberto) Melendez. 21 Grandchildren (19 living): Yolanda, Antonio(+) Jr.,Adrian, Miraiah, Joseph, Lorena, Laura, Lupita, Sara, Crystal, Jaime Jr., Brandon, Brittany, Luciano Jr., Oscar, Jacob(+), Sara Alyssa, Maricela, Dionicio Jr., Sara Evangelina, Sophia And 13 Great Grandchildren he is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, brother, and two grandsons Antonio D.Loredo Jr. and Jacob Flores. He will be greatly missed but forever held and kept alive in our hearts, memories and future stories to be told. Mr. Delgado is being taken care of at Rivera Funeral Home in Edinburg, Tx.
