Marjorie Ann Vawter (née Roberts) was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus on July 14, 2023. She was born on January 5, 1932, in Oxford, Nebraska, to Clarence and Edna Roberts. As a young teenager, Marjorie moved to Caldwell – a place she called home. She was a great champion of all things Idaho. She held many jobs throughout her lifetime including retail work, secretary/dispatcher for an EMS company, special education teaching assistant, and drill team coach at Vallivue School District, but her most treasured job was as Grandmother and GG. She is survived by sons Terry Kawano (Lisa) and Jeffrey Kawano (Jane) and daughters Debra Harris (Ken) and Peggy Wright, along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, son Ronald Kawano, and grandson Marcus Kawano. Marjorie enjoyed working in her yard, feeding her hummingbirds, attending dances at the Nampa Eagles, and cheering on the BSU Broncos football team. Faith and family were very important to Marjorie and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marjorie’s name to the Shriner’s Hospital or the Alzheimer’s Association. Funeral service for Marjorie will be held at Flahiff Funeral Chapel, 624 Cleveland Blvd, Caldwell, Idaho, on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
