Bruce Edward Minter, 79, of Melba passed away August 12, 2023 with his loving family by his side. Bruce was born on February 10, 1944 in Santa Barbara, California to Carna M. Robinson and Gordon Minter. He grew up in Crescent City, California and graduated from Del Norte High School and also attended Humbolt State College in Eureka, California. On June 5, 1965, he married the love of his life, Roxy Marie Casey in Hillsboro, Oregon. Bruce knew he was going to marry Roxy when they were just 10 years old! Bruce and Roxy made their home in McCall, Idaho where Bruce was a pilot for Continental Airlines. He received his pilot license at the age of 16 and enjoyed flying in the back country of Idaho and Alaska. Bruce also enjoyed photography and was always capturing the special moments at family gatherings. Bruce is survived by his wife of 58 years, Roxy Minter; children, son Scott Minter (Tammy), daughter Lisa Pack (Greg), son Robert Minter (Kimberly); grandchildren Kristen Minter (Shawn Kerwin), Colton Pack (Julia), Trinity Pack; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Kerwin, Maeve Kerwin, Dallas Pack, and Ryker Pack. Bruce was very proud of all his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carna and Gordon. His family will be holding a celebration of life for Bruce on September 23, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the Nampa Airport hanger.
