Flahiff Funeral Chapels & Crematory-Caldwell
Iris Ineck
May 29th, 1956 - January 17th, 2024
Iris Pauline Ineck earned her angel wings on January 17th, 2024, after a battle with cancer. Iris was born May 29th, 1956 in Caldwell Idaho to Paul and Claudia (Young) Boatman. She was the oldest of five children and took the role of caring for her siblings and cousins very seriously. A favorite memory- When living in Caldwell on Saturdays she would walk a whole group to the movie theater. After the family had made several moves throughout her school years, Marsing became their permanent home. This is where Iris caught the eye of Gerald, and the start of a great love story began. Iris and Gerald were married on July 20th, 1974. And honeymooned to the World’s Fair in Spokane, Washington in their stunning blue Ford Pinto. Iris and Gerald’s house was always welcoming spot for family and friends to gather. Whether it was to play cards or have dinner after a long day hunting. Which lead to friends who became family and mom treated everyone like family. Softball was a passion of Iris’s. In her 20’s she played on many different city leagues and made many friends along the way. She went on to coach summer girls’ softball team and eventually became director of Marsing Summer Recreation. Iris had a few different jobs but the one that meant the most was the daycare she ran out of her home for over 30 years. Many, many children were welcomed into our home and each and everyone of them took a place in mom’s heart. It brought pure joy to mom’s heart when the children she had looked after would visit when they became adults. Anyone who knew her would smile big at the memories when they hear Iris’ name. Iris is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years Gerald. Children: Michelle (Steve) Uriguen, Kimberly (Aaron) Bennion and Benjamin (Brenna) Ineck. Grandchildren: Gage Ramirez, Michael (Isabel) Bennion, Seth Ramirez, Quinton Bennion, Chloe Ramirez, Teagan Bennion, Hallie Elordi, Winnie Uriguen, Kira Manley, Klara Uriguen, Marcus Ineck and Noah Ineck. Great Grandchildren: Kalasa Ramirez-Silipa and Layne Bennion. Services will be held Friday February 23rd, 2024 at Flahiff Funeral Chapel Caldwell at 11 am Burial Service will follow at Marsing-Homedale cemetery.
