Milo Hamilton Milo Hamilton was born April 29, 1915 to Irl and Anna (Mefford) Hamilton in Glendive, Montana. He was an older brother to Berl and sister Loma. He led a very interesting life as a young man – bootlegger with a fancy new car at 15, oil field helper, truck driver and many other interests. He always enjoyed being a heavy equipment operator. He moved to Lorane, OR in 1937 with his family where he worked in the farming and logging industries. He married Edna Mitchell in 1938. They had four children. He married Wanda Penselin in 1949. They owned and operated a restaurant in Roseburg. Milo also worked for paper mills in California, Arizona and Oregon. After Wanda’s death, he married Marcella Vandegriffe in 2010 and moved to Springfield, OR. Milo had a love for buying new vehicles and enjoyed being on the open road. He loved to dance and never said no to a good steak dinner. Milo is survived by his wife, Marcella, two sons, Dick (Sandy) and Jack (Glendene) Hamilton and twin daughters, Karen (Bob) Fogarty and Karmen (Wayne) Faligowski, as well as, 3 grandsons and 3 great grandsons. He is also survived by step-children, Henry (Karen) Penselin, Curt Vandegriffe, Stan Vandegriffe and Vonda Ross Memorial services will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 25th, at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene, OR.
