Teddy was born in Jersey City, NJ – November 1, 1937 passed away at home on Friday, August 28th at 9:22am. Teddy was the daughter of Theodore and Janetta Garretson and second eldest of four children – Her father was a New York/New Jersey Lieutenant Port Authority Police Officer and Her Mother a Housewife. She is proceeded in death by her son Theodore Robert Rensink, and is the first of her siblings to pass away. Teddy was married to Russell Fredric Rensink on April 19th, 1958 in Cliffside Park, NJ at the 1st Baptist Church. They were married for 62 adventurous years and they were blessed as well as challenged with four children: Russ II, Theodore, Kevin and Adrienne. Teddy is survived by her siblings: Adrienne Capper, Wayne Garretson, Hugh Garretson, along with extended nieces and nephews. Her Children: Russ II (Debbie), Kevin (Julie), Adrienne; Grandkids: Brittany (Shilo), Brianna, Renee (Tommy), Riley (Kellie); Great-grandkids: Samantha, Lillith, Tatum, Bailee, Eli, Rowan and numerous grand pets. Teddy and Russ lived the majority of their lives in Colorado for approximately 40+ years; with “Gypsy” travels across the Western United States, due to Russ’s Electrical Contract work, then moved to Homedale, Idaho in 2007, to be closer to the Idaho family. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 11:00 am at Flahiff Funeral Chapel in Homedale.
