Marjean Thompson Marjean K. Thompson, (Jenski), passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the age of 77. Her family and Gwen Thompson, her wonderful caregiver, were at her side. Marjean had quite a life. She was a real estate broker, legal secretary, wife and mother. She graduated Athena High School near Pendleton, Oregon, and attended OSU. Marjean was adventuresome to say the least, as you can see from the photo which shows her gliding off the Alps in Switzerland where her son Sam was a multi-faceted guide. He was killed in an avalanche in February of 2014 near Sion, Switzerland while skiing. Jenski is survived by her husband, Chuck, and her two remaining sons, Charlie and Brad and three grandchildren, Kat, Jocelyn and Abby. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday at Sweet Cheeks Winery, 27007 Briggs Hill Road, Eugene, Oregon. The Celebration will begin at 12:00 pm.
