Robert "Bob" Eugene Watkins

On Monday, December 20, 2021, Bob Watkins passed away at his home in Payette, Idaho. Bob was born to Eb and Juanita Watkins in Harrison, Arkansas. His family moved to Idaho in 1952. Bob enjoyed family and the outdoors, camping, swimming, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed playing the guitar: He loved life. Bob was a caring and generous man. He had a sense of humor and enjoyed driving his dog Skeeter to get cheeseburgers. He enjoyed working with his hands and was a hard worker. He worked in a steel mill in Portland, Oregon, cutting orchids in Chicago, Illinois, owned and operated Watkins House Movers. He moved the town of Bates, Oregon to make way for a lumber mill. He worked for Northwest Regional Construction building grain silos in Montana. Bob bought a lumber mill and ran it on the South Fork in Donnelly, Idaho. He operated cranes for various construction jobs, he worked for T.I.C. building power plants and cement plants that took him to various states including Oregon and South Carolina. Bob leaves behind his wife Debbie Watkins; beloved pet Skeeter; two daughters, Bobi Knox and her husband Philip Knox and Patti Robinson; four grandchildren, Rynna Walker and her husband Ty, Ryon Robinson, Jeron Knox and his wife Amanda, and Joshua Knox; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Everett (Pud) and Tom Watkins; and many nephews and nieces. Bob will be dearly missed. Service Details.
