James Ray Presher
March 19th, 1957 - January 10th, 2020
James Ray "Jim" Presher, passed away in his sleep on Jan. 10, 2020. He was the third child born to parents John and Gaylene (Bockhahn) Presher on March 19, 1957 in Scottsbluff, NE. He worked for Bob and Dick Lzicar right out of high school, for around 30 years. Jim married Kim Kubal in 1978 and they had two boys, Robert and Josh. He married Janet Beckett in 1987 and they had a daughter, Sage. Jim enjoyed farming, hunting, four wheeling, and really anything in the great outdoors. Jim is survived by his wife, Janet; his mother Gaylene; his brothers Jay, Joe, and Jeff; his kids Robert, Josh, Sage and son-in-law Brad; and his grandkids Hailey, Jordan, Justin, and Dayton. He is preceded in death by his father John; sister Janice; brothers Jerry, Julius, and Johnny. There will be a memorial potluck at 1 pm, Saturday, Jan. 18th at the Payette County Fairgrounds in New Plymouth. Cremation is under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel. Memorials can be made to the Fruitland Fire Dept. Burnout Fund, c/o Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, P.O. Box 730, Payette, ID 83661. Condolences may be made to Jim's family at www.shafferjensen.com.
