Joey C Griggs

In Loving Memory of Joey Cleyon Griggs, 75, passed peacefully at home on October 14, 2018. Born on September 8, 1943 in Castleford, Idaho to the late Fate and Marie Griggs. He graduated from Castleford High School. Joe received a Feed Manufacturing Technology diploma from Kansas State University, Department of Grain Science and Industry 1972. He worked for Rangens, Inc., Buhl, Idaho; Allison Feed Mills, Filer, Idaho; Halverson Co., Salt Lake City, Utah; and a Rancher, Adrian, Oregon. He was an excellent welder and farmer. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, and western movies. He shared his passion of gardening with his grandchildren. A loving and mischievous grandpa and great grandpa that the kids could always count on him for his stash of candy and a comfy lap to cuddle up on. He shared life adventures and love with his wife, Wanda Jean (Webb) of Payette, Idaho and his family. His son Eddy Griggs (Julie) Twin Falls, Idaho, grandsons Parker and Preston; his daughter Shauna (Griggs) Strickler (Don) Meridian, Idaho, grandkids Denae and Andrew are shared by his first wife, Mary Bishop Irving. His added kids, son Gary Scott (Ruby Bennett) Payette, Idaho, grankids April Siebenthal (Mike) Strasburg, Colorado, great grandkids Darrien Ahrendsen and Maddi Siebenthal; Dustin Scott (Tiffany Painter) Buhl, Idaho; Garrett Scott of Ontario, Oregon, great grandkids Kienii, Daisey, and Jaden-Lee; Kory Shira (Morgan) Palermo, North Dakota, great granddaughters Sahara, Freya, and Athena. And, daughter Jacqueline Stone (Troy) Boise, Idaho, grandkids Amber, Brittney, and Joshuah. He cherished his many nephews and nieces and all his loved ones. Joe joins his parents, Fate and Marie; his sisters Lorene Tresler (Warren) Berryville, Arkansas, Fayerene Crisp (Melvin) Clarkston, Washington; Irene Blick (Kenny) Gooding, Idaho. And his brothers Bobby, Boise, Idaho; Billy (Linda) Buhl, Idaho; and Fred (Sheryl) Filer, Idaho.
