Carol Leann Olsen
August 23rd, 1960 - April 23rd, 2016
Carol was born Aug. 23, 1960 in Nampa, ID to Elmer and Barbara Zuercher. She was raised in Nampa until her family moved to Ontario, OR when Carol was in junior high; graduating from Ontario High School in 1980. Carol met George Olsen in Aug. 1987, he proposed to her in Oct. 1987 and they were married Jan. 30, 1988 in Ontario. They made their home in Ontario and then in 2006 moved to Payette. She loved to read romance books and being outside planting flowers, she also loved cats and dogs and to help others. She is survived by her loving husband, George Olsen; two daughters, Shelley Layne Olsen Horton (Frank) of Baker City, OR and Michelle Leigh Olsen of Payette; three brothers, Larnell Zuercher (Shannon), Kenneth Zuercher both of Boise, and Lanny Zuercher of Gresham, OR; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts. Carol was preceded in death by a baby sister; her parents, Elmer and Barbara; her sister, Debbie White; and grandparents, Harold and Mary Mackey. A viewing will be held from 4 - 6 p.m., Friday, April 29th at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, 112 N 9th St., Payette.
