Jerry or "Zeke", as he was referred to by all of his family was born in Challis on 28 June, 1951 and raised in Pahsimeroi Valley the son of Joe and Ruby Ziegler. He grew up on his family's ranch alongside his two brothers and his sister. As a young boy he enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing and riding horses back into Rabbits Foot and the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. After graduating from Challis High school he relocated to the Treasure Valley and settled in Payette were he began a career in the construction business as an accomplished electrician. In 1971 he met Kristy, his best friend and the love of his life. That same year they were married and began their lives together raising three beautiful and accomplished daughters. Jerry was larger than life as he was renowned for his overwhelming kindness and willingness to lend a helping hand to others which yielded countless friends and acquaintances throughout the area. Never was there a person that wasn't quickly engulfed by Jerry's infectious camaraderie. He loved his family more than anything and was happiest when he was spending time with his wife Kristy and all of their children and grandchildren at their cabin in Cuprum, Idaho. Jerry's happiest times were when he would load up all of the grandkids and travel to Sheep Rock, Black Lake or Lynn Saddle in his side-by-side. These were the best of times and you will be missed dearly by all. You will be in hearts forever; we love you Zeke. Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Kristy (Fosberg); Jerry leaves behind three beautiful daughters; Katie (Jeff) Mosso, Amy (Chad) Belvoir, and Tiffany Ames. Jerry was a loving grandfather to eight grandchildren; Tyler (Alyson Kennedy) Mosso, Shelby Belvoir, Kody Mosso, Kylee Mosso, Makayla Belvoir, Abigail Ames, Madelyn Ames, Isabelle Ames and a great granddaughter who will be born in February 2016.
