Melodye Lynn Trusty

Melodye Lynn Trusty, 69, joined the Lord's Angels on June 19, 2015. A celebration of Melodye's life will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, June 27th at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Burial will follow at Rosedale Memorial Gardens, Payette. Services are under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Condolences may be made to Melodye's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Melodye was born in Seattle, Washington to John and Janet Kauppila. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Melodye worked many years as a dedicated social worker - starting and ending every conversation with a hug. She knew no strangers, and enjoyed "acquiring" more family and friends every day. Amongst those celebrating Melodye's life is her husaband, L. Glenn Trusty, Sr.; children, L. Glenn Jr. and Hillary Trusty, Nancy (Trusty) and Ron Hollis; surviving sisters, Lorrie (Beau) Baudouin, Kay (Charlie) Bryan, Pinky (Ron) Thaut, Lela (Dale) Zuck; her grandchildren, Anthony (Michelle) Doud, Stephanie Doud, Anna Trusty, Raymond Berry, Ashley (Austin) Bissontte, Trillitye (Peter) Paullin, Alicia Trusty, Nikoa Hollis, Amanda Trusty, Travis Palmer, Anna Trusty, Tyler Hollis (Melissa), Opal (Nick) Benzel, Allison Trusty, Robbie Gibbons, Chantel Haywood (Matt), Leo Diaz, Megan (Robert) Reed, Cody Hollis, and Evelyn Irino; and numerous great grandchildren. Melodye was blessed with many nieces and nephews to share in our memories. Melodye joins her sons, Richard Andrew and Russell Alan in the paradise of Heaven; including her brothers, Allan Kauppila, Michael Kauppila and her beloved mother, Janet."It's my celebration of life, and I'll hug you if I want to."
