Wayne H. Bowen, 82, of Payette, passed away Wednesday July 4, 2012 in Payette. A viewing for family and friends will be from 5-7 p.m., Monday, July 9th at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 10th at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Payette. Condolences may be made to Wayne's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Wayne was born on Oct. 29. 1929 to Roy Amos and Julie May (Watts) Bowen in Denard, AR. He worked many jobs throughout the Midwest and California. On Nov. 29, 1957 he married Anna L. Cruthers in Tunica, MS. Wayne was a truck driver in Missouri until they moved to Idaho in 1963 where he drove truck for NACA the next 28 years; receiving a 25 year Safe Driving Award. Wayne loved gardening, wood cutting, dogs, and spending time at home. Wayne is survived by two sons, Tony Bowen (Kim) and David Bowen (Debbie), all of Payette and one grandchild. His wife and parents preceded him in death. Service Details.
