Our loving Mom was born August 30, 1922 in Monett, Missouri to Mildred and George Hogan. She grew up in Missouri with three brothers, George, Ike, Jim and one sister Betty. The family enjoyed singing and playing instruments. The sisters auditioned for the radio. During the war, the family relocated to Independence, Oregon. She met her soon-to-be husband while working at the diner in Salem. She married Dan Johnson on March 31, 1946 in Las Vegas, Nevada. In the fall they moved to the Oregon Slope in Ontario where they had three children; Bonnie, Karla and Dan. They family moved to California in 1955 and shortly returned to the Oregon Slope and then to Weiser. In 1962, the family moved to the Payette area, which remained home for many precious years. Mom always maintained a warm and loving home. She loved tending her flowers and gardening. She spent a lot of time canning the fruits and vegetables for which she received many blue ribbons at the Payette County Fair. She could sew everything, from doll clothes to cheerleading outfits. She worked at JC Penney for a few years in retail and also modeled for them. After retirement, Mom and Dad spent many winters in Arizona. She is survived by her sister, Betty Stone; children, Bonnie (Michael) Gee; Karla (Bob) Belvoir; Dan (Jackye) Johnson: grandchildren, Danelle, Chad, Justin, Jennifer and Dax. She was blessed with 10 great grandchildren, Mallary, Samantha, Kaylee, Shelby, Kodey, Makayla, Corbin, Kendyl, Elle, Asher and 2 great-great grandchildren Gabriel and Jaydyn.
