Norma Fay Goff Bailey
June 3rd, 1935 - September 8th, 2011
Norma Fay Bailey, 76, of Ontario, passed away Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011 at St. Alphonsus Medical Center - Ontario. The family would like to invite you to join them for a memorial service to celebrate her life at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14th at Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. Condolences may be made to Norma's family at www.shaffer-jensenchapel.com. Norma was born June 3, 1935 in Parma, ID to Acy and Vesta Goff. Norma met Frank when they were very young in Payette, fell in love, were married on July 16, 1949, and started a large family. They traveled a bit while driving truck cross country. Later settling and raising their family in Ontario. Norma, Frank and their five children stayed in the surrounding areas for most of their adult lives. Some moved away only later to move back. Norma loved spending time with her family and enjoyed the outdoors; fishing and camping was a great out let for her. She loved to gamble, Bingo and slots were two of her favorites; not to mention 31. Norma was very much loved and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. She is survived by her husband, Frank Bailey, Jr.; sons, Frankie and Mike Bailey; daughters, Edith Shockley and Carol Hood; brother, Sonnie Goff; sister, Ganeva Jellison; numerous grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
