Jackie M. Wells, 81, born on September 9th, 1942, passed away peacefully on the evening of December 11, 2023, in the company of family. Jack was born in the Payette General Hospital in Payette, Idaho to Martin and Mildred Wells. He is the oldest of 12 brothers and sisters and a half-sister. He married the love of his life, Elaine D. Samson, daughter of Wayne William and Dorothy Mabel Bugher Teske Samson on September 7th, 1963, at the Assembly of God church in New Plymouth, Idaho. Jack and Elaine had lived in Ontario, Fruitland, and finally settled in New Plymouth, Idaho, where they raised their 5 children. After Elaine passed away Sept 5, 1990, due to a truck driving accident, Jack sold their house and moved back to Payette. Jack worked many jobs including Albertsons, NP Senior Citizen Center, Culligan, Mobile Home Truck Driving and retired from the West Park Plaza Mall in Ontario, Oregon. For most of his latter life, he worked with 8 of his family members at American Northwest Outdoors/Ballistic Boats making many great memories. Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, dirt bikes, flying his ultra-lite he built, but most of all he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Jack was a Godly man that loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and always had a smile and grin. He was always sharing scripture and his personal testimonies with his family and friends. He didn't let an opportunity go by without talking to a stranger or making someone smile. Jack is survived by 11 brothers and sisters, son - Earl (Rojon) Wells, Payette, son - Marty (Stacy) Wells, Nyssa, daughter - Julie (John) Hill, Middleton, son - Jim (Kim) Wells, Caldwell, daughter - Christy (James) Buttram, New Plymouth, 9 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his true love, Elaine (wife), Martin & Mildred (parents), Virginia (½ sister), Angie (niece).
