Lienkaemper Funeral Chapel-Ontario
Susan Ann Carlson
October 31st, 2019
We mourn the loss of Susan Carlson, 79, who passed on to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 31st, 2019. As a retired educator and High School Guidance Counselor with Vale High School, Sue was a firm believer in the value of Higher Education. She took joy in the successes of her own children as well as the students she had helped, and watching her grandchildren grow up. She was also known for her love of cats, football (OSU, U of O, Boise State, and Green Bay Packers), basketball, and bridge. Sue Carlson was truly committed to the people she cared about, and felt deeply connected to the Ontario/Vale Community, as evidenced by her many volunteer hours at Vale High School sports events, support of The New Chapter Food Pantry, and other activities. She will be missed. Sue is survived by her sisters Sally Having (White Salmon, WA) and Sara Larson (Vancouver, WA); daughter Brenda Carlson (Seattle, WA); son Brian (wife Jennifer) Carlson and beloved grandchildren Alexandra, Sydney, and Blake (all of Lago Vista, TX.) Celebration of Life: 4:00 pm, Saturday, Nov. 16th - St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, Ontario. Arrangements by Lienkaemper Chapel, Ontario.

Over the years, the business has grown and had a number of owners, partnerships and names. Among them was our current namesake, the Lienkaemper family, who purchased the family funeral home with the mission of helping families in the Ontario community. ...
