John Follett John Ralph Follett Jr. passed away on November 8, 2014 in Eugene, Oregon at the age of 93. He was born on October 29, 1921 in Tacoma, Washington to John and Ada (Dexter) Follett Sr. He married Miriam Jones on October 5, 1943 in Tacoma, Washington. John retired from the U S Air Force as a Lt. Colonel, served during WWII in the European Theatre as a pilot. After retiring, he became a tree farmer. He enjoyed fishing, yard work, golf and anything that kept him busy John is survived by his wife, Miriam Follett, of Eugene, Oregon, his daughter, Patricia Sheldon (Terry) of Oakridge, Oregon and his son Michael Follett (Jane) of Fremont, Nebraska. He has 5 grand children and 11 great-grand children. A Memorial Service with Military Honors will be on Monday, November 17, 2:00 p.m. at Bethesda Lutheran Church, 4445 Royal Ave, Eugene.
