Rhonda Kay Dickson
August 21st, 1954 - April 8th, 2024
Rhonda Kay Dickson passed away of natural causes on April 8, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. Rhonda was born on August 21, 1954 in Caldwell, Idaho to Edgar John and Neoma Lee Bauman. She attended school in Boise and Caldwell, and graduated from Vallivue High School.
She married Rick Dickson in 1970 and together they had 2 daughters Kim and Kelly.
She had many different jobs during her lifetime from owning “Ricks Concessions” a concessions business with her husband, to working in the orchards and sheds at Williamsons. She also worked at Micron and Zilog.
Rhonda loved music and wrote many of her own songs. She also sang in a band in local clubs with her sister and brother-in-law. She also enjoyed being outside working in her garden and feeding her cows.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She is survived by her sisters, Sheila (Steve) Towery and Laura (Clint) Murphy. Her two daughters Kim Felix and Kelly (Cervando) Torres, four grandchildren Trevor, Jake (Victoria), Desi (Gerardo) and Katie (Roy), and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 15, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Homedale. Interment will follow at the Wilder Cemetery and a reception to follow back at the church.
