Donald “Don” Halverson died August 24, 2014 in Eugene, Oregon from heart failure at the age of 85. He was born July 12, 1929 in Bowman, North Dakota. After graduating from high school, Donald served in the military during WWII. He married Josephine Eva Givens and they had one son, Matthew. Donald is survived by his son, Matthew and daughter-in-law, Mher of Eugene. He is preceded in death by his wife Josephine Halverson on Sept 12, 2011. A Graveside Memorial will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2014 at Lane Memorial Gardens.
