Blackburn, Carl Eugene 84 May 31, 1929 to Jan. 8, 2014. Carl was born in Hargill Texas to Jesse and Georgia Blackburn. He moved to Oregon with his mother and attended Coburg High School. He served in the US Air Force, received a degree from OHSU School of Dentistry and then opened a dental practice in Eugene. During his life, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, golf, Oregon Duck football and basketball, and joining his friends after work at the local watering hole. He was a member of the Active 20/30 Club and the Rotory Club. He is survived by his daughter, Carla Van Orman; sons, Jerry (Jerilyn), Ron and Greg; 5 grand children, and 3 great grand children.
