Jayne E. Cooper, 64, of Eugene, Oregon, passed away on April 10, 2013. The Celebration of Life will be held at the University of Oregon Alumni Center, Room #202 on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at 1:00 pm Jayne was born in Girard, Kansas on June 29, 1948 to Earl and Myrtell (Hume) Cooper. She graduated from Sheldon High School and from the University of Oregon. She worked as a music teacher in various elementary and middle schools, throughout the Eugene School District for over 30 years. She is survived by three sisters, Carolyn Smith (Larry) of Lamar, Colorado, Rosemary Ball (Chet) of St. Joseph, Missouri and Nancy Hinke (Randy) of Grants Pass, Oregon, eight nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews and other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother. I lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society. The family would like to thank the compassionate doctors and staff at the Sacred Heart RiverBend Hospital. She loved God, music gardening and the sound of children laughing. She was loved and is loved.
