Catherine KabaCatherine Ann Kaba of Eugene died Dec. 18 of age-related causes. She was 90. A memorial Mass is planned for Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at St. Jude Catholic Church, Eugene, Oregon.She was born March 22, 1922, in Maywood, Neb., to Fred and Elsie Peterson Christensen. She married Donald C. Kaba on March 8, 1943, in Lincoln, Neb. He died March 31, 1984.She was a homemaker and in her later years was the manager at Gray’s Garden Center.Survivors include two sons, David of Yuma, Ariz., and Ronald of Slidell, La.; a daughter, Lynn Jones of Prospect; a sister, Jean Coyle; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A daughter, Carol Beck, died previously.Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene. Remembrances to St. Jude Catholic Church or the American Cancer Society.
