Evelyn WhiteheadA memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at St. Helen Catholic Church in Junction City for Evelyn M. Whitehead of Eugene, who died Dec. 6 of age-related causes. She was 93. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church.She was born Nov. 27, 1919, in Sementina, Switzerland, to Michael and Elinda Brocco Brocco. She married Elmer Whitehead on Dec. 14, 1940. He died in 1996.She was a high school graduate. She was a homemaker.Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Keef of Eugene; and two grandchildren.Burial will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 14, at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland. Arrangements by Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene.Remembrances may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
